Schools La Cañada Flintridge families are served by a number of exceptional public, private and parochial schools. La Cañada Flintridge residents have maintained a long tradition of providing the highest quality schools for their children -- the La Cañada Unified School District was founded in 1885 when the city had only 15 children of school age. Over the years, the District has grown to encompass a high school, a middle school and three elementary schools:
The western 1/6th of the city lies within the Glendale Unified School District, created in 1936. One elementary school, one middle school, one high school, and one science/technology magnet high school serve these La Ca ñada Flintridge families:
