DESIGN COMMISSION
| The Design Commission is responsible for reviewing architectural design, landscaping and signage of proposed commercial and institutional projects. The Commission works with property owners and developers to facilitate designs that are aesthetically pleasing and compatible with the goals set forth by the City Council. |  |
This ensures conformity with the City's General Plan, Foothill Boulevard Master Plan, Design Options Manual, Downtown Village Specific Plan and design review findings. The Applicant's Guides for Design Commission Review and for review of a sign only are available in the Documents Catalog.
Commercial Property Improvement Program
The City Council has adopted a program for partial reimbursement of exterior enhancements that improve aesthetics and appearance. The Design Commission is responsible for review and approval. For more information contact the Planning Department.
Meetings
The Design Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, as needed, at 7:30 AM in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
