TRAILS

The Trails Map, revised in 2003, was developed by the La Canada Flintridge Trails Council, a volunteer organization. The Council was formed in 1974, prior to incorporation, to develop, protect and maintain the trails in our community. The map appears on this website with their permission.

The map indicates the trail connections with our bordering Angeles National Forest and with the communities of Altadena, Pasadena and South Pasadena. Note that street access to Cherry Canyon Trails are located at Hampstead Road, Sugarloaf Drive, and Forest Hill Drive.

In 1996, the American Hiking Society awarded the City of La Canada Flintridge the title "Trail Town, USA." Our City was among the top 20 towns in the nation selected to receive this honor. Much of the credit goes to the Trails Council and we are proud of this recognition and designation.
