Memorial Park

Memorial Park, 1.5 acres located at the intersection of Foothill Blvd. and La Cañada Blvd. is the center for a variety of community outdoor events. It features a large open grassy space; a toddler and children’s play area; picnic tables, a gazebo with a bandstand; and a restroom. Memorials to the City’s military veterans are placed on the base of the gazebo.

Many community activities take place in Memorial Park including Fiesta Days events during Memorial Day weekend; and Music in the Park on Sunday evenings during the summer, 2009 Music in the Park Schedule. The Festival in Lights celebration is held early in December and the gazebo is outlined in white lights for the holiday season.

Reservations may be made in advance for areas of the park (31 days for residents and 60 days for non-residents). To make a reservation, complete the application form, provide liability insurance naming the City as additional insured, and pay $20 per hour. Fee waivers may be granted by the Parks & Recreation Commission.

Glenola Park

Glenola Park is a small, quarter-acre park at the intersection of Angeles Crest Highway and Vista del Valle. Amenities include a gazebo and rose garden.

Glenhaven Park

Glenhaven Park is a half-acre park at 1918 Parkdale Place. Amenities include a toddler play area; picnic tables; unlighted tennis court; barbecue pit; and restroom.

Mayors' Discovery Park

The newest City park, located at the intersection of Foothill Blvd. and the 2 Freeway on-ramp, was opened in Fall, 2004. This neighborhood park features a soothing water element, an ivy-covered arbor, and a whimsical “buried treasure” children’s discovery area. The park also includes picnic tables, restroom, and a grass lawn. It is adjacent to the joint use athletic field at 1830 Foothill Blvd.
